This exhibition invites visitors to experience the Renaissance through both art and sound. At Castelvecchio Museum, Titian’s Venus is presented alongside paintings, historic musical instruments and ideas from sixteenth-century humanism.

Titian’s Venus at Castelvecchio: Verona exhibition 2026–27

The exhibition runs from 31 October 2026 to 31 January 2027 in Sala Boggian. Titian’s Venus with a dog and an organ player is shown in dialogue with works by Jacopo Tintoretto and Marietta Robusti, as well as instruments depicted in paintings and material from Verona’s Accademia Filarmonica. The project is part of the museum’s centenary programme.

It is a rewarding stop for art and history lovers and fits easily into a day in Verona’s centre. Concerts and guided tours are also scheduled on selected dates; tours require booking. Check the museum’s official website for the current calendar before choosing a day.
