Valerio Catullo Airport is in Villafranca, southwest of Verona. The direct public connection is ATV’s Verona Airlink 199, which runs to the railway station. From Porta Nuova, continue to your accommodation on foot, by city bus or by taxi.
Verona Airlink 199
The Airlink bus connects the airport with Verona Porta Nuova station. Check the current timetable, stop location and ticket conditions before travel; frequency and the last departure can change by day and season.
From the station to your accommodation
Porta Nuova is not the entrance to every apartment or hotel. Check the final walking distance or connecting bus before you board, especially if you are travelling with suitcases or arriving after dark.
Taxi, car hire and private transfers
A taxi can be more convenient for late arrivals, groups or bulky luggage. Use an authorised service and confirm conditions before starting the journey. Car hire is useful for destinations outside the centre, but check parking and Verona’s restricted-traffic zones.
Timetables and a time buffer
Check the schedule for your exact travel day and allow time for baggage collection and possible delays. If you land late, identify a backup option in advance instead of relying on the planned arrival time alone.

A local tip
The shuttle stops at Porta Nuova, not at every accommodation. Allow time for the last leg with your luggage and for any connection.
